Church Rock

A common route taken on my annual photography trips into the Arizona and Southern Utah area is along the US Highway 160.  On this particular trip the clouds were remarkably fluffy.  Though I was running late, as I approached Church Rock Valley, the scenery demanded a pause to attempt to capture an image.  This image would be the first image taken during the trip and I believe that my composition is pleasant to view.  I did end up cropping the image in post production from 7952 x 5304 to 4699 x 2643 to focus on the key elements in the composition.  I saw this image as using a complementary color theme extracted and displayed in the color wheel.
